Our Background

Andy Newey is a Chartered Civil Engineer, Registered Professional Engineer of Victoria, Member of the Australian Institute of Project Managers with 32 years of experience both here in Australia and overseas.

Fuego Group were formed in 2017 when a phone call from an old colleague presented an opportunity to start a small Engineering consultancy. The consultancy initially focussed on major infrastructure works, within which the Managing Director and Founder Andy Newey had spent his entire Engineering career.

 

Andy has been very successful in the top tier of the Infrastructure Industry and following a Tree change to Warrandyte is now very pleased to be offering his expertise locally to the surrounding areas.

 

 Andy specialises in all things Civil Engineering with particular areas of specialist knowledge being in retaining walls, roads, earthworks, structures and heavy lifting operations. All of these areas of expertise align very closely with the challenges experienced due to the topographical nature of the area.
